October 9, 2005, 4:00 P.M., Rock Quarry House. Member discussion on the culture of phrags. Plants will be available for purchase for members to try out what they learn.

November 13, 2005, 3:00 P.M., Rock Quarry House Darla Manly from Allen’s Flowers will talk about and demonstrate the art of incorporating orchid flowers in arrangements including the minimalistic, Japanese style of flower arrangement; Ikebana.

December 11, 2005, 3:00 P.M. Holiday Party, location to be announced.

Thirteen members attended the last meeting on Sunday, May 8, 2:30 p.m. at the Superior Garden Center, immediately following the repotting clinic. Members participated in a silent auction for divisions from the Missouri Botanical Garden. Many thanks to Howard Wilson, Kris Leech, Mona Laird and Barbara Giles for bringing plants for show and tell.

The next meeting will be on Sunday, September 11, 2005, at 4:00 P.M., at Rock Quarry House. The guest speaker will be Tom Ott, an orchid judge with special interest in Harlequin phalaenopsis.

Please bring plants for Show-and-Tell, to show off, ask for cultural advice, and/or to ask about problems!
